Zhifan is a product designer who enjoys crafting poetic and delightful connections with the physical world through design.
She is passionate to explore tangible interactions that support curiosity, creativity, and sustainable practices,
ultimately enhancing personal well-being and fostering reflections on the human experience.

She is now a PhD student in Media Arts and Technology, UCSB, with a focus on digital fabrication.
Before joining UCSB, she studied industrial design in Georgia Tech and Beijing Institute of Technology.

She is also enthusiastic about craft and cat. Unfortunately, she is allergic to cat fur.
